I almost didn't get these due to another review but I think that they will work out. The initial comfort didn't match up with what I've experienced in the past with Clarks shoes. This was mainly because the insert in the sole of the shoe was not well fitted to the shoe. As such it folded over when donning the shoe and susequently rubbed my foot wrong. Comfy but give it time

I normally wear a size 5 in Clarks but this particular model felt a little tight at first even with thin socks (although not with hose). I almost returned them but I'm very glad that I gave them a chance. After wearing them several times they felt roomier and fit perfectly. The arch support is excellent and these shoes are very comfortable for work especially if you have to walk around a lot. My only qualm is that they're rather plain and boring-looking. I bought these shoes for my 14 year old who wears a size 14. I wanted something a little stylish but comfortable. He really likes the style and he says they are really really comfortable. My only comment is that they run a little big so I would order one size down. I should have ordered a size 13.

Classy Platform Maryjane

Very nice shoe. I typically wear a size 9 1/2 with socks and a 9 without. Since I plan to wear these without I got a size 9. They fit very well but do have just a little extra toe room due to the style I think. I would have prefered a slightly more rounded toe but it's not really a fit problem. I wear medium width and they fit perfect width wise. I tend to have a problem with dressier shoes being to narrow for me and I don't have that problem with these shoes. The Insole fits my arch perfectly and is oh so comfortable! Probably the only pair of dress shoes that I won't have to buy an insole for. I got the Black Patent leather and the material is very sleek and supple probably won't take me more than a day to break in. An all around great shoe. My favorite shoes

I have never written an online review but feel compelled to share that these shoes have completely saved my feet. I have been to the podiatrist even got orthotics but nothing worked for my painful feet until these shoes. I have a combination of plantar fasciitis and fallen arches. I wore these shoes all over Paris for a week and never once had a problem with my feet hurting. I work as a teacher and travel from room to room all day. Again my feet never hurt. These are an extremely comfortable pair of shoes. They have a great cushion insole. The front insole is a hidden 1/2" and so it cuts down on the heel height ratio by 1/2" like a platform shoe. Love these shoes!!!

I purchased my first pair of these shoes at a popular outlet store and then I was sorry that I hadn't bought them in more colors. I couldn't find more at the same outlet--so I went online. I was so pleased to find them and I ordered another pair. I injured my foot about 6 years ago and have had to wear very expensive shoes since that time. A lot of the shoes that I own are comfortable but are quite heavy. These shoes have an ample toebox and are both cute and comfortable. For me they required no break-in time. nice looking trendy shoe but not so comfortable

I agree completely with one of the earlier reviews. For some reason the construction of this shoe allows your foot to slide forward. This creates a situation where your toes are pushed directly against the tip of the shoe. I was able to wear the shoes for a few hours without major problems but would not recommend them if you need to stand or walk for any significant period. They are a very classy looking pair of modern pumps but I plan to wear them only for days when I don't anticipate the need to spend much time on my feet.More detail ...

Comfortable Shoes

I had one of these sandals and they lasted me a long time. They are awfully comfortable sturdy and flexible. The adjustable straps lets you adjust the sandals if you are wearing socks and need extra room to wiggle your toes.



However if you are flat footed this sandal does not provide much of an arch support. This was one of the first pairs of sandals I bought before I was diagnosed with a really bad case of flat foot / feet and had to swtich my footwear.



I cannot believe the price at which these sandals are available. You cannot beat the price!

Good fit on my hard-to-fit foot

My toes don't taper the way most people's toes taper--mine are more square and I also have a high instep and a wide-ish foot. This makes it difficult to find a shoe that fits well. These fit well. My toes aren't too squished and my pinky toes don't squeeze through the strap. The back strap does not rub on my heel either. The heel is high and fairly easy to walk in--certainly not a heel-toe stride--but not wobbly either. I'm no feather weight; and I was worried these would not support me well but these shoes do a fine job of supporting my foot. They are not super cushy but they do not kill my feet either. I tolerate these very well. I have received many compliments on the shoe. These are much prettier on the foot than they appear in photographs. I got the beige. They are very light in color--almost a blonde--very springy/summery yet give good coverage. I wear them to the office with pants and they dress up the outfit but are still not too stuffy. I've worn them 2 to 3 times a week for almost a month and I haven't ruined the heel yet (from using the gas pedal in the car). I really like these shoes!More detail ...

They're pretty but they didn't fit!

Prior to purchasing these shoes I purchased two other pairs of Clark's pumps. Those shoes were great so I figured these would be great too. Not so. I was really disappointed when I received these shoes they were VERY tight in the toes and in the heel. It was almost as if the shoe was a half size too small! I was very dissatisfied and to add it was too late to send them back for a refund because of Amazon's limited 30-day return policy. I was out of town when they arrived so now I have a pair of shoes that I can't wear! I'll have to be more careful before buying shoes again from Amazon.More detail ...

Great looking shoe and comfortable!

I tried this shoe on in the store and liked it so much but didn't want to pay full price. Then I found it on Amazon at a discount and ordered it immediately. It's a great looking shoe to wear with dress pants or jeans and is truly a comfort all day long! I have a fairly wide toe area but not wide enough to wear a wide shoe and I had to stretch the toe box of this just a bit (a shoe stretcher was the best purchase I ever made). Very comfortable

I am very picky in relationship to my feet. I had a surgery on my feet and constant back problems. So for me comfort is important as well as a look. I put those on right after my fitflops that I wear a lot and it was just fine. Leather is smooth just the way Clarks does and fit is great. I did not feel any seeming problems inside and design outside looks simple and nice.

I grew up seeing these on boys and I had to have a pair now that they are "back". I have the sand color and I find the leather a bit stiff...they are unlined and rub at the ankle a bit. Also the insole has no arch support and because they run a little small no room for added orthotics. Having said that I like the look and will keep them. I love Clark's!

I am a life-long Clark's enthusiast - especially the clogs. I went to Shoe Carnival Designer Shoe Warehouse etc. and they never had the color and size I wanted. Since I knew the brand and my size I decided to order online. I received the Betty Lou clog in wine within several days. I was a little uncertain about buying a "wine"-colored shoe sight unseen but they are wonderful. I would say it is defintiely wine but with brown rather than blue or purple undertones - just what I wanted!
